ColourPop: My First Makeup Review.

Let me start with this disclaimer. This is NOT a sponsored post. I was not asked to write this.

I don’t know if any of my lovely followers are into makeup, but I am. I’m not a makeup artist by any means but I do love dolling myself up once in a while. I am also completely obsessed with Disney villains. My favorite Disney villain is Ursula. (I promise this will make sense in just a second.)

Well, I was on Facebook a little over 2 weeks ago when a nifty ad popped up. It was an advertisement for ColourPop. They were releasing a new makeup collection. The moment I saw what they were releasing… y’all, I could have died and gone to Heaven!

ColourPop released a Disney Villain collection! Naturally, I had to order something. Scrolling through the collection, my heart ached for all of it. Sadly, I’m not made of money and couldn’t order the whole collection (the whole collection would have been $200. And yes. I would have paid it if I had it.)

Instead, I bought the Misunderstood eyeshadow palette, the evil queen matte lipstick, and the Ursula matte lipstick. (I’m obsessed with matte lipsticks of the red variety.)

My lovely purchase came in the mail on Monday and I am O B S E S S E D.

My favorite look (so far) I use No Spots (white), The Fates (blue), and Flotsam (a rose gold-ish) from my eyeshadow palette and I use my Ursula lipstick (the darker red color) as a liner (the base color is by Hard Candy.)

The colors are vibrant. Honestly, I can say it’s the best eyeshadow I’ve ever used. Same goes for the lipstick. I’m definitely going to buy from ColourPop again. I’d like to own the Disney Designer collection someday as well.

Anyway, 10/10 recommended by myself and my best friend Chloe who DID buy the entire collection.

Can you see why I wanted the whole collection?

The artwork on the product is beyond cool. I love the neon coloring. The collection has several different villains such as Ursula, the Evil Queen, Hades, Malificent, and Cruella.

The variation of available colors is what drew me in. Now that I’ve gotten a chance to test out their product, I can say that I would be more than willing to replace all of my makeup products with their brand. I love how the colors look and I like not having to use 3 or 4 layers before the colors become vibrant.
